i make lab in gns3 with 4 router 2960 and add module switching when i creat vlan and do sh run-config it does appear in running-config and when do sh run | include vlan nothing appear but it's appear when do sh vlan the same problem with vtp so i can't advertise vlan between 4 swithces by vtp what i do?

tha vlan file which you create is adatbase file which stored in flash with name vlan.dat so you will not see it in show run and when you erase nvram it will not erased so you can use the command(delate vlan.dat) to remove the vlan database,but if you use vtp in transparent mode you can see the vlan in show runn
-for vtp you can check it with the command (show vtp stat)
or show vtp password
if you can advertise vlan between the switcheches follow the following steps
1-first check the physcical connection between them and make sure that these links in trunk mode
use the command show cdp neighbor : to check the neighbor ship
2-if these physcical links boundled into ether channels check the asscocaition and the trunk stat
3-check the vtp mode (server-clent -transparent ) of course you must have one switch act as server and the others clents make sure forn it or all four switches in transparent mode
4-check vtp domain it is case sensitive
5-check the vtp password also case sensitive
6- check the vtp version
all these checks can done with show vtp stat and show vtp password
in shaa Allah you will find the problem and you will solve it
